Wolcott - Located 7 miles from Edwards further West, this town is one of the last largely undeveloped areas in the Vail Valley, but close enough to the slopes for the residents to have it all - open space and close proximity to world class skiing and snowboarding. Red Sky Ranch offers award winning golfing, the Lazy J Ranch supplies fly fishing tours, horse back riding, dog sledding and a shooting range. Zip-line Tours provide thrilling zip-lining adventures through the canyons, and the Wolcott Yacht Club brings live entertainment, delicious food and camaraderie to the area. The Bellyache neighborhood of private homes is located above the I-70 corridor in Wolcott and offers privacy, sweeping views of the Vail Valley and all of its mountain ranges and great open space to hike, bike, cross country ski and snowshoe. Further North of the main area, there are numerous ranches and land parcels for the outdoor enthusiasts and horse lovers. There are plenty of public trails for dirt biking, hunting (in season), 4-wheeling, camping, fishing and horse back riding.
